With more than 28 years in the software industry, building and leading international sales teams and strong partner ecosystems, James has held executive positions in sales, channel, strategic alliances, and marketing. Prior to Tableau, James was SVP Global Sales at Alterian. He has also served in executive positions at E.piphany and Remedy and crafted his sales skills at Compuware.
James is a graduate of the University of Leeds and holds an BSC (Hons) in Data Processing. When he can escape the demands of his wife and four children, James plays golf, badly.
Professor for the Public Understanding of Risk, The University of Cambridge
David Spiegelhalter is Winton Professor for the Public Understanding of Risk, and Professor of Biostatistics, at the University of Cambridge. His background is in medical statistics, particularly the use of Bayesian methods in clinical trials, health technology assessment and drug safety.
David has over 190 refereed publications and is author and co-author of a number of academic and popular books, including The Norm Chronicles: Stories and numbers about danger. He is an Honorary Fellow of the Institute for Risk Management, and of the Royal College of Physicians, and is a Fellow of the Royal Society.

Alex joined Tableau in February 2016, working as a Sales Consultant on the presales team, focusing on Healthcare customers in the UK. Having studied psychology at University, then leading a career in Data Warehousing and business intelligence (BI), Alex will tell you he was amazed and overjoyed to discover how well (visual) psychology and BI could be married together through Tableau – it’s not about the chart, it’s about the person who views it. Other areas of interest are dashboard design, storytelling through data and user interaction.
Andy joined Tableau in July 2016; formerly of Alteryx and Lavastorm, he has extensive experience around data prep and transformation. Prior to working in the data analytics space, Andy spent eight years working for Advanced Business Solutions helping customers develop their Financial Management Systems and Reporting tools. As a former accountant, Andy’s had lots of exposure to reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, Business Objects and Cognos (and lots and lots of Excel!).

He shares his passion for visual analysis and technology with his writing, (e.g. Computerworld, on tableau.com, and his own blog), speaking at industry conferences like SXSW and Tableau’s own events.
Andrew Kemp is a Sales Consultant for Tableau, one of the fastest growing technology companies in the world. Prior to Tableau, Andrew was head of pre-sales for Cadcorp, a GIS software company where he specialized in helping people unlock the power of geography and spatial analysis. Before that Andrew worked in markets as varied as the Ministry of Defense, Local Government, and the British Antarctic Survey.
Anna is part of the Presales team. Having previously worked with other analytical tools, she was seduced by the ease of use of Tableau and the possibility of allowing everybody to see and understand their data. She helps customers within EMEA, and in particular France, to master Tableau and create impactful visualisations.
As part of the presales consulting team, Bethany helps customers and prospects maximize the value of Tableau in their analytics endeavors through direct engagements, presentations, and knowledge sharing through the online community. She works with customers all over the European market, with a particular focus on France. Prior to joining Tableau, Bethany studied math and operations research at the London School of Economics.
Ciarán brings a host of different experiences and perspectives to his role as a product consultant at Tableau. He began his career as a software engineer with a small start-up, before transitioning over to SAP and the analytics space. Ciarán loves working with customers to help them get the most out of their data using Tableau.
As a Sales Consultant, Colin is responsible for helping customers and prospects be as successful as possible with Tableau. Prior to Tableau, Colin was Product Manager at SAP BusinessObjects for six years; in this role, he led the strategy of a number of Business Intelligence Products.

David joined Tableau in early 2012 as a Solution Architect in Professional Services. David has since moved to London to help drive Tableau’s Channel business in all of EMEA. David spends a majority of his time focused on Enterprise Deployments of Tableau. Prior to Tableau David spent five years as an Independent IT Consultant focused on Data Warehousing, Data Driven Applications and Business Intelligence. He has been part of the Global Services team since 2012 and was the first Professional Services consultant in Europe. Emiliano has over 13 years experience in the business intelligence (BI) and data warehouse industry having previously worked with Oracle, Cognos, and IBM.
Erwin van Laar
Erwin van Laar is a Product Consultant at Tableau. As a MSc Public Health graduate of Maastricht University in the Netherlands, he specializes in management and innovation. Prior to Tableau, Erwin worked as a management trainee and eventually a Team Leader at an occupational health service, where he optimized the performance of the Health Checks and Vaccinations unit. He now uses this knowledge on a daily basis to help people see and understand their data across all sectors. In his spare time, Erwin likes to visit the theatre or concerts, which makes London the right place for him to be.
Erik is a product consultant at Tableau. While completing his BA, Erik became interested in Behavioral and Experimental Economics, trying to use data analysis and statistics to understand how people actually behave and make decisions. After having completed his MSc at the Stockholm School of Economics, he has since been working in the tech space where he now helps people see and understand their data using Tableau. When not at work, you can see him biking around London or running in Victoria Park when he is not taking care of the two cats at home.
Edyta works as a Sales Consultant at Tableau's London office where she is responsible for supporting enterprise customers from the EMEA region. She started her adventure with business software back in 2008, being a student at Cracow University of Economics, when she participated in the student apprenticeships program with Comarch SA, a Polish multinational software house and systems integrator. Before joining Tableau she had a few roles focused on Business Intelligence and ERP, and working with multinational customers from numerous verticals. She loves animals, outdoors activities, and travelling - last year she visited 11 countries in four continents.

After working in the Professional Services team for over two years, Gaetan is taking his hands-on experience to the Presales team for the African and Middle-Eastern markets. Irina is a Product Consultant for Tableau Software based in London. She joined the company over nine months ago and has been helping customers and prospects make most of their data using Tableau. Prior to Tableau, Irina used to work in digital analytics field providing consulting services to help clients measure, analyse, and optimise digital performance. Irina holds a masters in management degree from University College in London, and a bachelor’s degree from Ural Federal University.

Julian Kelly is a Senior Product Consultant for Tableau London. He has been with Tableau for over nine months, having previously spent time demoing solutions within the SharePoint and Microsoft space to businesses, and at events and shows. Julian now uses this experience within Tableau to continue helping people to see and understand their data, hopefully helping to make sure they enjoy it while doing so.

Before Tableau he was one of the BI specialists who created reports for business users within a DAX30 company with SAP Business Objects and Microsoft Analysis Services. Now, as a Product Consultant he helps customers in Europe to approach BI the Tableau way.

Mohamed works as a Product Consultant at Tableau based out of London, as part of a large team that helps customers be more successful in adopting and deploying Tableau solutions. Holding a background in statistics and analytics, he gathered experience in the business intelligence (BI) industry prior to joining Tableau, having worked as an insight and data analyst in the marketing field on some major brands.

He joined Tableau to pursue his passion to help people visualize and utilize their data. Mrunal has a M.Sc. in Decision Sciences from London School of Economics and a B.Sc. in Supply Chain Management from Arizona State University.

Rafi is a product consulting manager in the London office, having come to Tableau with an MSc in Global Politics from the London School of Economics. She knew she needed to join Tableau when, after using the product for the very first time, she quickly realised that everything she analysed in her dissertation was wrong. Stefan is the Manager for Tableau’s UK Sales Consulting Team. Stefan has had over 15 years business analytics experience in roles such as technical consultant, product manager, and pre-sales. He has worked on a diverse range of projects, from marketing analytics to risk analysis, and in a cross-section of industries. The best part about his current role at Tableau is that he is able to work directly with people to help them unlock the power of their data - and with it, the possibility to drive meaningful change for themselves and the things they care about.
Selchuk has been with Tableau for more than one and a half years. As a product consultant, his mission is to ensure that customers become successful with Tableau by helping them see and understand data. Before joining Tableau, Selchuk worked as a tax consultant at PwC. He holds an MSc in International Economics from Maastricht University (Netherlands) and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Bogazici University (Turkey).
